These two are just so gorgeous. We had a blast hanging out at Milton Park Bowral and just capturing some super fun ‘engagement shoot’ photos. Margie and Pete both live in Queensland but came over for a weekend to get photos done in Bowral.

This super relaxed, Montrose Wedding Southern Highlands party had Alison and Xavier and all their family and friends having an absolute blast. Alison+Xavier embody so much free-spirited joy and love for other people. And really, their wedding was just one big hug, fun, dancing, tears-of-joy fest.
We were so honoured to have captured some beautiful moments, sharing this wonderful day with them. Capturing the love they have for one another and the people that surround them. It really was such a joy to see two people so madly in love, being themselves. And making the day special, not just for themselves, but for all those around them.
Hope you enjoy these frames. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll understand why we fell in love with this gorgeous wedding.

“For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks… the work for which all other work is but preparation” – Rainer Maria Rilke Mornington peninsula wedding photographer
The human journey has always been marked by our quest to understand love in order to reap its fruits. And Jordyn+Jesse started this journey, the journey of marriage when two people commit themselves to one another for life. What an amazing privilege it was to capture the beginning of something beautiful. They picked an amazing setting for their celebrations with an epic tee-pee tent. The dancing at the end looked like a total fairy tale, but as the following poem goes which rings so true:
Love is not a fairytale.
Love requires tremendous work.
A fairy tale is when good people get a happy ending. Automatically.
Fairy tale endings don’t exist, but real love can be better.
