Chris and Hayley’s intimate wedding at the gorgeous Mali Brae Farm in the Southern Highlands was one ridiculously romantic wedding. From the beautiful overcast weather to the intimacy of no bridal party, their day centred around their love and a celebration of that love.

Here’s their story:

“Chris and I met at a friend’s birthday celebration 11 years ago. We got along really well that night but never exchanged numbers. I was young, finishing off high school and not at all interested in starting a relationship. Not long after our first meeting, Chris asked a friend for my phone number. He contacted me and I agreed to go on a date with him out to dinner and a movie.

Chris may have fallen asleep for half of the movie (he had travelled almost 2 hours on the train just to see me after a long day at work) but that was it – he had definitely won me over with his beautiful smile and a great sense of humour. We have been together ever since :)”

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Hayley and Chris’ special day and I am thankful for them allowing me to document and tell their story.
