Booking Alex for our wedding day was by far the best investment that we made in any vendor. He made both of us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera, and he was so relaxed the entire time. His talent truly is like nothing else in the industry, he has such a unique and beautiful style of photography that really captures the feeling of the moment. Alex is literally a magician and we are so glad we found him. He’s not only wildly talented but he’s warm, kind, patient and an excellent communicator who seems to really love his job. My partner and I both prefer being behind the camera ourselves but Alex has such calming and encouraging energy that we actually enjoyed the whole photo experience and are genuinely thrilled with the final product. There is literally not a shot we don’t like, how does he do it? An amazing photographer seems like a luxe treat in the lead up to the wedding but like an absolute bargain once it’s done. Our friends and family are all telling us that Alex’s photos are some of the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. We acknowledge our bias but humbly agree. The wedding went by so fast and we are so glad to have these images to enjoy for a long time to come. Special credit to Alex for also finding us a wonderful videographer at the literal last minute (4 days ahead of the wedding) and coordinating beautifully with him, we are just so grateful.

Anyone can be a photographer, but not everyone can be an artist…
Being wedding photographers ourselves, we had a big list of photographers who we wanted to potentially photograph our special day. I narrowed it down to my top 3 favourites, and upon showing my partner the first image in Alex’s portfolio, he let out an audible gasp, and it was then that I knew we shared the same favourite photographer who we just HAD to have for our day. It was a no-brainer.
In the lead-up to our wedding, the number one question our friends, family and guests (and even my own clients) had was “So who’s going to be YOUR wedding photographer?” Everyone was so curious as to who we chose, and every time I answered I had a quiet knowing (almost smug confidence!) that I’d made the best decision in hiring Alex.
Every single photo Alex has shot for us (from our engagement session to our wedding day), is magic. Anyone can be a photographer, but not everyone can be an artist.
