Jaspers in Berry is a stunning venue. It takes your breath away instantly as you walk in through the gates. Nestled in amongst the trees in the beautiful South Coast town of Berry NSW. It has a very stylish yet relaxed garden style feel that I really like. The combo works extremely well and who doesn’t love a Jaspers Berry wedding!

A bit about Chinese Ceremonies

Carmen and Yi started their Jaspers Berry wedding with a beautiful Chinese tea ceremony. The Chinese tea ceremony has been a significant symbolic feature of Chinese weddings for over a millennium. The occasion is customary. An opportunity for the bride and groom to give thanks and show gratitude and respect to their parents (and other family members) for raising and nurturing them over the years.

I love this quote by Lafcadio Hearn. – “The tea ceremony requires years of training and practice … yet the whole of this art, as to its detail, signifies no more than the making and serving of a cup of tea. The supremely important matter is that the act be performed in the most perfect, most polite, most graceful, most charming manner possible.”

A bit about Carmen and Yi – Jaspers Berry Wedding

Carmen and Yi are two of the most beautiful souls you’ll meet. They met each other 5 years ago while at university. Yi took Carmen to a festival in town and he pretended that they were going to meet his friends. Although, after a few hours, none of his friends turned up. Carmen later found out that it was intentional. They both enjoyed each other’s company, and the rest is history. All leading to this beautiful Jaspers Berry Wedding.

Below is a selection of images from their gorgeous Jaspers Wedding. And below the images, you’ll see a list of the wonderful vendors who were involved in making the whole day happen.
