I often get asked the question if I have a favourite wedding. I have to honestly say, the answer is I don’t. But I can also say that there are some weddings that certainly stand out from others. And this Mali Brae Farm wedding would have to be one of them. Not because it had the fanciest decorations. Not because it had the best D.I.Y elements or even the best location (which, by the way. Mali Brae Farm is one of my favourite wedding venues).
But aside from all those things, this wedding stands out because of who Marnie and Glen are as people. They gave me permission to capture the day with no rules, no regulations, no requests… just capture. Capture in a way that I can be creative. To capture the day that I could bring out Marnie and Glen’s personalities at their best and not forced. And that’s why I believe this day stands out from so many other weddings.
Marnie and Glen are the types of people who you will meet and instantly feel like you’ve known them for a long time. Their love story began when they met at a friend’s New Year’s Eve party. It took some persistence from Glen but from their first date at ZimZala Cronulla, they knew. Since then, life has taken them on a journey… A journey where it would lead to marriage, starting right here at Mali Brae Farm in the Southern Highlands. Now they continue their love story with a beautiful Bernese pup, creating memories and loving life.
So here is how the start of their married life began. Celebrating a Mali Brae Farm with close friends and family.
