It started with a DM that I received from Fede on Insta.

A Kangaroo Valley Intimate Wedding.

When I saw Fede’s DM, I read she was searching for a ‘unicorn photographer.’ Intrigued and flattered, I quickly realised that Fede was looking for someone whose style was as unique as their love story—a true testament to the artistry and creativity I strive to bring to each wedding. The thought of being their ‘unicorn’ Kangaroo Valley Wedding Photographer was a challenge I wanted to face head-on.

With just 25 of their closest friends and family, the celebration was held at a stunning Airbnb nestled in the heart of Kangaroo Valley NSW. The day began with a deeply touching moment as Kate and Fede exchanged love letters. This intimate gesture set the tone for the day, as they poured their hearts out onto paper, sharing their deepest feelings and promises. The letters were a beautiful reminder of the journey they had taken together and the love that had brought them to this moment. It was an emotional experience that left the few people who were around, including myself, moved by the depth of their connection.

One of the standout moments of the day was their unique take on the ‘first look.’ Unlike the traditional private first look, Kate and Fede chose to share this special moment with all their guests. At the ceremony location, with everyone watching, they saw each other for the first time. The anticipation and emotion were palpable as they embraced at the back of the aisle. They shared a private moment before walking down the aisle together. It was a beautiful and unique twist to a first look and one that highlighted their close bond.

Capturing the Magic as a Kangaroo Valley Wedding Photographer

Their love story, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Kangaroo Valley, was a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. As their Kangaroo Valley wedding photographer, I was incredibly honoured to be part of their special day. Capturing the essence of their unique bond, preserving the magic of their love in a way they can cherish forever.

To Kate and Fede, thank you for choosing me to be your ‘unicorn photographer’ for your special day. Your wedding was a true reflection of your love—unique, beautiful, and deeply personal. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and adventure together.
