We recently had the pleasure of documenting this stunning Margan Winery Hunter Valley Wedding. It was a beautiful Autumn day in April where Stephanie and Ben would tie the knot. Since it was their love of wine that brought them together, it made Margan Winery the perfect venue for their wedding.

Depending on who you ask, Stephanie and Ben’s beginnings date back at least two years before they started dating. They were working in the same office as very distant acquaintances in different relationships. While they had some sliding door moments, it was a few too many glasses of wine that brought them together.

In Stephanie’s words “Sometimes when you are finally happy to be on your own, you take spontaneous chances”. Every milestone they encountered was effortless and organic, from meeting the parents to moving in together.

Again after too many glasses of wine, one night they both realised there was nothing holding them back. Marriage hasn’t changed what Stephanie and Ben fundamentally have…

…it’s simply enhanced it.

This story could be summed up in the wise words of Erica Jon ~ “The trouble is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk even more.”
