This incredible 70s inspired Studio 54 style wedding took place at The Rocks Sydney with close family and friends. Before the official ceremony took place Katie and Lachlan had a private intimate ceremony at The Three Rooms in Sydney where they exchanged vowels and officially became husband and wife. It was one of the most romantic and memorable intimate ceremonies I had the pleasure of capturing.

Katie and Lachlan didn’t want the conventional wedding and they certainly did away with a lot of the traditions you usually see at weddings. Opting for a very personal touch, having the perfect mix of romantic vibes to a loud and colourful photo session.

This is what you get when you mix

A first look

A private ceremony

A colourful photos session (thanks to The Sugar Republic at The Rocks Sydney).

A high tea party at the Tea Cosy… and no reception.

It was definitely a different kind of wedding, one that will go down as one of my personal favs.

The following incredible vendors were the ones who brought it all together to make this dream wedding for Katie and Lachlan happen:

Bridal Gown – Custom Made: Diane Lewis Couture

Groom’s Suit Hire: Mr Fierze

Celebrant: Maddy Wilson

Hair/Makeup: Sarah Lim

Florist: Ellebore

Super 8 Film: Dimitri Zaunders
